This 7-day family safari provides the ideal mix of wildlife encounters, adventure, and relaxation. Beginning in Arusha, you’ll explore Tanzania’s most iconic national parks—Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater—each offering unique experiences that are sure to create lasting memories for the entire family.

DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Morning:
After breakfast, meet your safari guide in Arusha and begin your journey to Tarangire National Park, approximately a 2-hour drive. Known for its large elephant herds and the famous baobab trees, Tarangire offers incredible wildlife viewing opportunities.

Afternoon:
Upon arrival, head out on your first game drive. Look for large elephant herds, zebras, giraffes, and wildebeests. The park is also home to unique species like the fringe-eared oryx and gerenuk.

Evening:
Arrive at your lodge or tented camp and relax for the evening. Enjoy dinner with your family while taking in the sights and sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 7: Departure from Karatu to Arusha

Arrive in Arusha, where you’ll have time to relax, explore the town, or shop for souvenirs at local markets. If time permits, you can also visit cultural spots or enjoy a meal at one of Arusha’s local restaurants.

Afternoon:
Depending on your flight time, you’ll be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your departure, bringing your 7-day family safari adventure to a close.
