Kilimanjaro Trek via the Marangu Route
OVERVIEW
The Marangu Route, often referred to as the “Coca-Cola” route, is the oldest and one of the most popular paths to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. It stands out as the only route offering hut accommodations, providing a more comfortable trekking experience compared to camping routes. Over the course of 8 days, you’ll journey through diverse landscapes, including rainforests, moorlands, and alpine deserts, while gradually acclimatizing to the altitude. The trek culminates at Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa at 5,895 meters. Known for its straightforward ascent and stunning views, the Marangu Route is an excellent choice for those seeking a well-trodden path to the summit.
